Answers:

1. What products are best printed with screen printing?
Any product with a regular, uniform surface like a bottle, mug or any flat surface.

2. What is the best screen mesh count?
Fine detail printing requires a higher mesh count: 230 to 355. For large bold images or thick ink laydown use 180 mesh count.

3. What is "off-contact"?
"Off-contact" is the distance between the part and the bottom of the screen.

4. How big should my off-contact be?
Generally off-contact should be about 1/8".

5. Why is flooding a screen important?
It keeps the screen from drying out. When you flood a screen it allows the ink to re-wet itself and keeps it from drying in the screen.

6. How should I clean my screen?
You can use ICN's fastest compatible thinner for an on-press wash. Wiping the screen with thinner cleans residual ink from the screen and the fast thinner evaporates quickly so you can go back to production immediately.

7. Do you sell screen printing supplies?
ICN sells all inks, squeegee, on-press wash, screen stretching and exposure systems.
