Tagless printing means no paper tags, and no paper waste, making it a great eco-friendly label printing solution. In addition, our pad printing machines are designed to save energy and cut down on utility costs. Utility consumption is only 0.0096 KW per printing machine and 40% fewer printing machines and operators are needed compared to older technology. Our tagless eco-friendly label printing can withstand over 50 industrial washes and last longer than ever before, extending the wearability of clothing items and encouraging reusing rather than replacing.

Sapphire® ink products are non-toxic and compliant with all current US regulations, European toy safety (EN-71), and RoHS.
All Sapphire® inks have certificates from independent laboratories, such as Bureau Veritas, confirming the absence of lead, phthalates, carcinogenic, and dangerous substances as demanded by The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (also known as CPSIA) and The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (also known as California Proposition 65).
The MB and J3 series are Class VI certified, meeting strict medical safety standards and can be applied to devices in direct contact with the human body.
In addition, the Sapphire® SB series ink is certified by Oeko-Tex and Bureau Veritas to not contain Azo dyes, restricted heavy metals and PVC. SB ink is certified by NAMSA to not cause skin irritation.
New to the Sapphire® Ink line-up is the SB Eco series ink. Formulated for the environment to reduce potentially harmful chemicals. The SB Eco series is free of Naphtha, PAH, and Cyclohexanone.
The SB Eco Series satisfies the strictest compliance testing including: Eco-Passport, CLP/GHS (EC 1272/2008), EN 71-3, Reach (EC 1907/2006), RoHS, and ISO DIS 6330.
We create less waste for the environment because our ink cup does not use plastic inserts that need to be discarded after each use.
Our patented VersaCup® is developed with a proprietary ink resistant coating to quickly and easily remove dried ink.This eliminates the need for excess cleaning solvents and inserts.
Laser etching plates not only provide superior image quality and repeatability, but it also eliminates variety of waste used in the process. The alternative to laser platemaking is photopolymer, a multi-step process that requires the use of film, screen-film, and plate developer. For each plate made using the photopolymer process, waste is created.
Additionally, the composition of laser plate materials allows it to be recycled rather than discarded.
Hardener is a standard component to the pad printing process, promoting abrasion resistance. Because hardeners are used in most pad printing applications, Inkcups has developed a safer alternative with its 1000HNX hardener, which is free of xylene and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
