The Inkcups J3 Series pad printing ink is a medical-grade, glossy 1- or 2-component ink built for high opacity and strong chemical resistance. J3’s high opacity and superior resistance to adhesion and chemicals such as alcohol, acids, and alkali make it the ideal choice for industrial applications and vinyl. Common applications of the J3 series are:

J3 pad printing ink is medical grade (Class IV Cert.), , is classified as NT (non-toxic), and formulated with pigments free from heavy metals. Safety Data Sheets are available according to EU regulation. Main indications are carried on the product label. This Class IV certification is what makes J3 the preferred pad printing ink for medical device printing applications.
J3 Series ink is available in 17 standard, 1 high density, 5 metallic, and 4-color process CMYK shades. See our standard J3 Color Chart below under Resources. Inkcups’ in-house color matching team can build a custom J3 ink shade to match a specific brand color or PMS target. Adjust viscosity for transfer with M Solvent or add a pad printing ink hardener to increase abrasion resistance.
