An etched feature using a UV cylindrical inkjet printer is meant to mimic the look of etching glass using a laser or similar product. Obtaining an etched look requires using only white (no varnish) at a lower opacity on glass. This mimics the look of etching the glass with a less opaque white color. Typical applications for this design feature includes pint glasses, wine glasses and more.
