The 2200-LS is a two color pad printing machine that incorporates a 20-station servo-driven indexing conveyor. This machine is perfect for high-volume production where parts are loaded and then offloaded into a box or bin.

What are the basic functions of this machine?

This two-color pad printing machine has the ability to print up to two colors, meaning, you can print the same 1-color artwork on multiple items, or you can print the full two colors. The maximum image size per color is 80 mm (3.14″) utilizing two 90 mm ink cups. With very tight registration (+/-.001”), the 2200-LS is able to precisely print two-color artwork without a problem.

What are the consumables used with this pad printer?

Since this is a two color pad printing machine, some consumables will need two of each. For example, plates, cups, rings and pads will need to come in pairs. All consumables are the same as other pad printing machines. These include:

• Pad printing solvents and hardeners
• Pad printing pads

• Ink cups and rings

What kinds of products can the 2200-LS print on?

The applications for the 2200-LS are really endless. There is a limitation to the size of the product as the tool is not very large. However, we have seen yo-yos, lip balm, fidget spinners and other parts printing on this machine. The 2200-LS is also great for industrial parts and plastic molded pieces that can be placed on a conveyor and sent back into the production line.

What makes this machine different from other two color pad printing machines?

The 2200-LS is different from other two color pad printing machines because it offers an indexing conveyor that allows for integrated automation on a production floor. While using automation, the first robotic system can be tasked with loading the machine from a conveyor. An optional additional robotic system can be setup at the end of the machine to pick the parts and place them on another conveyor to be packaged. The indexing conveyor can also simply drop the item into a box or bin. With the increased want and need for automation, this machine is the perfect solution for many different types of production facilities.
