Jeremy Dudley

A stroll through the Ink Department at Inkcups HQ in Danvers, MA is always a bit brighter when you’re lucky enough to cross paths with Jeremy Dudley our Warehouse Material Handler. Since joining the team, Jeremy has been a beacon of positivity and a shining example of the outstanding talent that defines the Inkcups team. We sat down with Jeremy to learn a little bit more about his role and time with Inkcups.

Q. What is your role at Inkcups and how long have you been with the company?

A. I was hired as a Hazmat certified Material Handler. I came with that certification and Inkcups keeps my license up to date. I work with Matt Lee and Mario picking inks, pouring silicone inks and pouring solvents. Then we all pack and ship everything that’s not nailed down! I am currently training with Joe Shairs, our Ink Manager, on custom color matching and I find it challenging and fun!

I just celebrated my second anniversary with Inkcups on 5/22.

Q. What is your favorite part about your job at Inkcups?

A. I have quite a few things I like about my job. I enjoy how varied it can be. You just don’t know how the day is going to go! Sometimes there are lots of inks to pick, other times there are large solvent orders or silicone orders to pour. I like formulating colors to PMS chips in the lab. Its tricky and really rewarding when you nail the correct color!

Another thing I like is the people here. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming to me and I like the culture we have here.

Q. How do you like to spend your free time?

A. I love hanging out with my wife, Kerilin and being with friends kicking back.  Specifically in summer, I live in Gloucester and love going around on my scooter catching vibes. Do a couple loops of the back shore and then join the group at the beach. When I am cooped up inside I play video and board games.

In another lifetime I was a professional Chef. I did that from when I was 14 until about 34 years old. What a difference that world is to what I do now! I learned a lot of life and professional skills on the hot line. I still use those disciplines today

Q. You are part of the Culture Committee at Inkcups, correct? What is your part in this?

A. The Culture Committee is a fun little group we have here at HQ. We gather a couple times a year to come up with fun ideas to show the team they are appreciated and acknowledged. Sometimes it’s as simple as hidden items in the building to find or as large as the company holiday party and BBQ! For 2 years running now Inkcups invited my wife to facilitate a coffee tasting as she is a trained barista and coffee master and and the people here really appreciated the caffeine!

My role in the committee is the same as everyone there. We brainstorm fun ideas and work them into the budget (or fun fund as I call it) and then implement them. We actually just met yesterday and have some awesome things in the works! Stay tuned!!

Q. What is something that everyone should know about Inkcups?

A. Inkcups to me is the “Little engine that could”. Since I came here two years ago I have watched us all come together with a whole new ERP system which was hard and we are still learning and growing with that.

Inkcups has a great team environment. Teamwork and laughter go hand in hand. Sometimes you might catch a stray stress ball to the dome but that’s life.

Open doors across the company is a perk too. I can just go right up to Jim Burns (our Chief Commercial Officer) and float an idea and I feel encouraged to do so instead of dismissed.

Thank you, Jeremy! It’s only right to give credit where it’s due—Inkcups is a more welcoming and enjoyable place to work because of incredible people like you. Interested in joining our team? Explore our open positions here: Join Our Team
