The Laser Orange pad printing cliché plate is a CO2 laser engraver material, 0.019” thick and relatively hard for a pad printing plate. While Laser Orange accepts any type of graphic, the plate material really excels at etching fine line and detailed images.
Laser Orange is especially advantageous if one is running different printing machines with various types of cups, rings or doctor blades: the plates’ matte finish gives some latitude for doctoring.
