The Cobalt Edge is a high-powered MOPA Fiber Laser designed to etch plate material for several applications ranging from promotional products to apparel and more. This 20-watt laser features a maximum marking area of 4.7” x 4.7”, a spot size of 44 micron and a fiber source life rating of 100,000 hours making it a powerhouse machine.

The built-in focus finder enables precise etching for excellent registration and marking. The Cobalt Edge was also engineered to switch seamless between different plate sizes with a simple switch of the plate bracket. Finally, the flexibility of the Cobalt Edge enables etching of plates for pad printing and laser engraving of a variety of substrates.

Compatible plate materials include: DuraLaze, Cobalt Ultra, Cobalt Steelback, Onyx and Onyx Steelback.
