BT Series Pad Printing Ink

BT Series pad printing ink is a high-gloss, easy-to-process, all-purpose 1- or 2-component version. Adhere to a wide range of substrates such as ABS, SAN, acrylic, cellulose acetate butyrate, paper, corrugated board, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyester foil, polyethylene, polypropylene (pre-treated), soft & hard PVC, wood, and polyurethane.

As a two-component ink, the BT series offers exceptional abrasion resistance, which can be significantly increased with the addition of pad printing ink hardeners, and an extended pot life of 8-9 hours. BT Series adheres to a wide range of products and is ideal for both pad printing and screen printing. This ink series works best on substrates where opacity and gloss are a premium, and is available in 23 standard, 5 metallic, and CMYK 4-color process shades. High Gloss, High Opacity Finish

BT Series pad printing ink delivers a high-gloss, high-opacity finish on substrates where color depth and coverage matter most, including translucent plastics and injection molded parts. The opaque, glossy result holds up whether the ink is applied by pad printing or screen printing.

Two-Component Abrasion Resistance and Extended Pot Life

Run BT ink as a two-component system to significantly increase abrasion resistance on parts that see repeat handling. A mixed batch holds an 8-9 hour pot life, so it stays workable across a full production shift. The BT series pairs with Inkcups’ F Solvent or MS Solvent to adjust viscosity for ink transfer.

Standard and Custom Color Range

Choose from 23 standard and 5 metallic shades, plus CMYK 4-color process for full-color work. Inkcups’ in-house color matching team can build a custom BT ink shade to match a specific brand color or PMS target.

The BT Series Ink is classified as NT (non-toxic) and is formulated with pigments which are free from heavy metals. Safety Data Sheets are
available according to EU regulation. Main indications are carried on the product label.
