The Inkcups Helix® High Throw UV Cylindrical Printer is an industrial direct-to-object UV inkjet printer designed to decorate cylindrical and conical products, including irregular and contoured shapes. It delivers vibrant, full-color, 360° graphics on bottles, tumblers, containers, cups, and tubes from a single, efficient workstation.

An advanced direct-to-object industrial inkjet machine, the Inkcups Helix® High Throw UV Cylindrical Printer is designed to decorate cylindrical and conical products, including straight, contoured and irregular shapes. It delivers vibrant, full-color graphics on products such as bottles, tumblers, containers, cups, and tubes, all from a single, efficient workstation.

The Helix® High Throw UV printer is engineered with high throw technology to handle complex shapes and height variations up to 15 mm, making it ideal for challenging applications such as stepped or highly contoured drinkware.

Compatible with a wide range of materials including plastic, metal, ceramic, and glass, the Helix® High Throw is a powerful addition to production environments looking to expand capabilities while maintaining exceptional print quality.

The Helix® High Throw is a fully servo-driven system, ensuring precise, repeatable printing on every part. The printer supports 360° seamless decoration, enabling full-wrap designs that stand out on the shelf.

What is High Throw Technology in Printing?

Also known as high drop or high gap printing, high throw technology increases the distance between the printhead and the substrate, allowing ink to be accurately placed on challenging surfaces. This is especially beneficial for vessels with posts for handles, significant top-to-bottom diameter variation, stepped vessels, or pronounced design features.

360° Designs on Handled Drinkware

Many handled tumblers feature removable handles. Once removed, short welded posts remain on the vessel surface. Thanks to the increased distance between the printhead and the product, High Throw technology can print cleanly over these posts without sacrificing quality.

After printing, the handle can be reattached, resulting in a seamless, full-wrap design.
