Inkcups offers plate-making services to those who don’t make plates in-house or are looking for fine-quality etched pad printing plates. The process is easy: send in your artwork, let us prepare it for you and etch it to your liking. Nothing gets etched or shipped without proof approval first to ensure accuracy and quality.
Cobalt Steel-back plates are the standard choice because they offer the finest quality image when etched with our Cobalt 1000 fiber laser engraver. Inkcups can, however, accommodate the etching of any of our plate materials.
In addition, Thick Steel plates can be etched. Why thick steel? These etched plates can withstand up to 1,000,000 impressions compared to the 25,000 a typical etched plate can offer. Thick steel plates are perfect for jobs where the artwork doesn’t change, and long production runs are needed.
