Answers:
1. When should I use an inkjet machine?
In general, in inkjet system should be considered over pad printing or screen printing when multicolor, tight registration or process printing is required. Pad printing and screen printing are still faster and easier for 1-2 color printing.
2. What type of inkjet systems do you sell?
- We sell the PromoJET system which is a solvent-based machine to print over light colored and white substrates. The PromoJET machine does not print white.
- We sell the Mimaki UV inkjet machines for all applications. The Mimaki UJF machine has excellent whites and can print extremely high quality images on any color substrate.
3. What is the difference between PromoJet and Mimaki inkjets?
- PromoJET inks are solvent-based inks which can be air-dried. The speed of drying is similar to pad printing.
- Mimaki systems use UV based inkjet inks that do not cure unless exposed to specialized UV lights.
