Mimaki UJF-706 Wide Format Inkjet Printer
The Mimaki UJF-706 wide format inkjet printer is a state of the art flatbed UV inkjet. This inkjet printing system features:
- An offset white print head that enables single pass printing of white under color on dark substrates
- Direct printing on items up to 5.9" (150mm)
- Different UV inks for hard and flexible items
- Advanced RIP software
The Mimaki UJF-706 wide format inkjet printer can print in 8 colors (including white) at a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. It features a staggered print head allowing users to print a layer of white ink under a colored image for a more vibrant color - and to do so in a single pass of the print head, making dark over white printing twice faster than before. The UJF-706 allows for multi-layered printing and can add a glossy finish for a nice smooth feel.
The UJF-706 also features automatic optical image mark recognition software that can keep a memory of where images are placed, this is excellent for printing on items such as name tags in which most of the image stays the same and slight adjustment need to be made per name tag. The UJF-706 inkjet printer has a larger bed than that of the older UJF model (UJF 605CII) and is perfect for use on promotional products, POP displays, golf balls, membrane switches and name plates, just to name a few.

DigiBond Primer
- Enables Inkjet Printing on Metal, including Nameplates!
DigiBond is a specialized primer that allows UV inks to adhere to metal. For the nameplate industry, this primer finally makes inkjet printing a viable alternative to screen printing!
To use DigiBond, wipe it on the surface and flash cure it prior to applying UV inks.
Aluminum sheets pre-treated with DigiBond are also available.
