Cobalt Linear Motion Table

This add-on attachment allows to automate handling of small engravable items such as pens, carabiners or to etch images larger than the field of view of the scan head (120mm) such as graduations or multi-color pad printing plates. The stepper motor controlled linear motion table has a 500mm stroke and fully programmable indexing positions with a registration tolerance of +/- .0005”. The tooling plate readily accepts pin registered engraving fixtures or is designed to accommodate various printing plates sizes up to 250mm x 650mm.

This add-on attachment allows Cobalt 1000 laser engraver to etch along the circumference of round or cylindrical items – such as pens, mugs, camera lens rings, tubes, flash lights etc.

Cobalt 1000 laser engraver etches metal including stainless steel and coated metal. With quick-change tooling fixtures and the ability to etch 5-10 pens at a time in a 3 second cycle, Cobalt laser will jump-start customized pen production.
