Printing on Chocolate(Click to Expand!)

We printed on chocolate with the PromoJET flatbed inkjet printer with edible ink. The edible ink is safe to consume and looks great on chocolate.

Printing on chocolate was easy. First, we did a little preheating to the point where the chocolates are almost melting so the ink can infuse with the chocolate and not smear off. The PromoJET flatbed inkjet printer printed a whole tray of these chocolates in under 4 minutes! After printing on the chocolates, we placed them in the refrigerator to further harden the chocolates.

The PromoJET edible inkjet printer can print on all kinds of treats such as cookies, cupcakes, mints, and cakes!

Creating a personalized Christmas ornament is easier than ever before! The PromoJET solvent inkjet printer can print virtually any image onto an ornament. Great for giving a personalized gift or promoting businesses by placing their company logo on.

The process was simple! First our tech guys made a custom holder for the ornament to keep it from rolling and then the PromoJET flatbed inkjet printer did the rest! As you can tell the image printed clearly on the ornament and in no time at all! We went over this image twice to really make it stand out. Custom ornaments are the new trend for the holidays, not to mention ornaments are the number one selling holiday decoration!

Happy Customer Thanks Inkcups Now!

May 17th, 2010 | Author: Inkcups Now

Wanda W. is one of Inkcups Now customers who recently got a PromoJET inkjet printer for Edible products. She visited our Headquarters in Danvers, MA for a training session (which comes free with any equipment purchase) and went back to Illinois to resume making delicious cookies and cakes, now with the new machine. I say “delicious” because Wanda left a cake here at Inkcups, after practicing in decorating it – and it was absolutely yummy! Here is a piece from an email that she sent to Mike Bissel a few days ago:

“Yesterday when I arrived the first phone call I received was, “Is the manager available”. You know, that’s never good. It was the customer who got the 200 logo cookies and a cake. To my surprise they absolutely loved the cookies and cake and needed to call and let me know. They had a ribbon cutting ceremony for Camelot School (they had directors in from over the whole United States and these directors could not believe the how good the cookies looked and tasted). The colors were so bright on the cookies etc. :) Again, PromoJET is #1!!!! So possibly when another school opens elsewhere, maybe we’ll get the order?????
Anyway, the ovens are waiting for me… and THANKS again.”

Printing on Bottles: High Resolution Images

Printing on bottles: Charater picture (Click to Expand!)

Take a look at what our Inkcups Now team did today!

We were able to use the PromoJET solvent inkjet printer with the rotary fixture attached to print these great images on these bottles. The rotary fixture allowed us to print on circular/cylinder type of objects. The process was simple, we first heated the bottles with the built-in halogen heat lamp (yes you can use that with the rotary fixture as well!), then the PromoJET inkjet printer did the rest!

We were able to use two different types of images: the first image (the characters) was a high resolution graphic picture printed onto the bottle and the second image (the hotel) was high resolution photo that we were able to use. Either way the printing on bottles came out great with the PromoJET solvent inkjet printer!

Inkjet Printing on Footballs

Check out these awesome footballs!

By using the PromoJet solvent inkjet printer, we were able to print these fantastic images right onto the football.

It was so easy to do! First, we rubbed the football down with alcohol. The football was then heated up with the PromoJET’s built in halogen lamp, because it is built in, the objects require no manual pre-heating, and it improves the adhesion of the ink to the football. The PromoJET did the rest! The images came out crisp and sharp regardless of the bumpy surface texture. All thanks to the PromoJET flatbed printer!

Decorating cakes just got a whole lot easier!

Print directly onto cake frosting using the PromoJET flatbed inkjet printer with edible ink. Print virtually any image/photo/design directly to frosting.

Older methods were tedious work for the printer, they first had to print the image onto special paper, then transfer the paper onto the cake and then use heat to transfer the ink to the frosting. Printing direct to frosting with the PromoJET edible ink printer saves time and money, not to mention its also very tasty!

Printing Team Logos Using the PromoJET Flatbed Inkjet Printer

Printing logos on baseballs

Printing logos on baseballs (click to expand!)

Using the PromoJET flatbed inkjet printer, printing your favorite team logo on a baseball is a snap!

Logos are printed on baseballs using regular ink and a halogen lamp for heating during the printing process. The interesting thing about the printed logos is that they are done at about 1.2” and still have crisp edges! These were done at lower resolution to allow more wrap on the part.

Team logos are not the only thing that can be printed on baseballs, by using the PromoJET solvent inkjet printer, the images are fully customizable! Print company names, pictures, and advertisements to use as an excellent promotional tool!

Personalized Luggage Tag

The PromoJET is known for being an extremely versatile printer, capable of printing on objects of different sizes and shapes. But let’s not forget that a small flat objects such as luggage tags is another great application for the PromoJET Inkjet Printer.

They came out looking very shiny and the resolution of the artwork in really outstanding. See for yourself by clicking on the picture to see a larger image!

Greg simply followed 3 easy steps to go from plain white tags to colorful personalized luggage tags.

• First thing he needed to do was to wipe down the tags with alcohol to get all those sticky fingerprints off!
• Secondly, he pre-treated them using a heat gun which is a pretty common procedure in order to get the best ink adhesion possible.
• Lastly, all he did was placing the luggage tags on the printer table and off it goes!

Imprinted iPod covers (click to expand!)

The PromoJET solvent flatbed inkjet printer works great for printing on slightly rounded objects, such as these, previously clear, iPod covers. We all know how important it is to look cool when you are out jogging – so Derek and Gregg decided to team up for this task. First they wiped the covers with alcohol, then added heat using a heat gun, before sending the covers through the printer. They were ready in no time. And look how nice the colors came out! Whatever size iPod cover you want, PromoJET inkjet printer can do it. And no color combination is too difficult for our guys. Give it a try. We are always up for a challenge!
