Printing on Saw Blades
August 11th, 2008 | Author: Inkcups NowAlong with the poker chips the Mimaki UJF-605CII Inkjet also produced a few Saw-blade samples. Logos from Black & Decker and DigiBOND were used, as well as an American flag.
Although the Black & Decker saw blades look wooden from this picture, they are, in fact, metal just like any other saw blade. The logos came out sound and fluid on both the wood-cutting blade and the metal-cutting blade. Even on a metal surface like this, the picture came out just as clear and did not run. These blades look sleek and clear with the high-resolution Mimaki.
Printer used in this project:
Type: UV flatbed inkjet printer
Brand: Mimaki
Model: UJF-605CII
Standard applications: pens, mint tins, zippo lighters…
Unconventional applications: 3-D paper calendards, crocs…
