Customized Combination Lock – PromoJet Flatbed Inkjet
September 2nd, 2009 | Author: InkcupsNowToday we can customize pretty much anything so why not go ahead and print on combination locks such as these ones? Using the PromoJet Flatbed Inkjet we were able to quickly print the artwork onto the metal combination locks.
They definitely look a lot better than the standard one color lock dials that you would usually find. But don’t make the artwork lock too nice or someone might want take them away from you!
The combination locks were already pre-printed in white before they where inkjet printed to make the artwork more opaque. We also used our DigiBond Primer and heat-gun before printing to give better adhesion. The flatbed inkjet table is big enough to hold 60 of these padlocks at a time and the printing process doesn’t take more than a few minutes.
