B-Cookie! (Click to Expand!)

Some may say we have gone too far with this one (or at least we think we did.)

We have decided to merge the two sweetest things in our office together: Bonaventure, our controller, and cookies. The result was the B-Cookies. We just used the PromoJET flatbed inkjet printer along with our tasty edible ink and presto! We have a cookie that tastes great with a friendly face on it. OK, I will admit, it is a little weird to eat a cookie making that face at me, but it still tastes awesome! Decorate any cookies with virtually any image with the PromoJET edible inkjet printer!

Printing on Electrical Outlet and Socket Covers

Ordinary household items such as electrical outlets can be turned into a beautiful focal point for any room with the use of the PromoJET flatbed inkjet printer. The outlet and socket covers can be imprinted with virtually any design or image!

The outlets and socket covers were heated with the built-in halogen heat lamp, then pre-sprayed for better adhesion. We used our P-Series ink, a special ink designed specifically for plastics that is resistant to household cleaning agents, even rubbing alcohol! The PromoJET solvent inkjet printer quickly placed the designs on the outlet covers generating a crisp, clean image.

With a custom designed electrical outlet, there is no need to hide them behind the furniture anymore.

Tagless Labels on Safety Clothing (Click to zoom in!)

Look at all these bright colors! Don’t stare too long though, may hurt your eyes.

Tagless printing has done it again! We were able to use our pad printing machine to print labels onto these bright colored safety shirts. These tagless t shirts are great for wearing at night time when it is difficult to see. Typically, people will be wearing these shirts for physical activities at night time, such as jogging or riding a bicycle. In these situations a tag sticking into the back of your neck can get really annoying and uncomfortable, tagless labels maximize the comfort level so people can get out and be active.

Printer used in this project:
Type: Semi-Automatic Pad Printer
Brand: ICN-150
Model: Two Color
Standard applications: neck tagless labels, pens, stress balls, other metal and plastic parts…
Unconventional applications: cookies, contact lenses

Printing on Bottles: High Resolution Images

Take a look at what our Inkcups Now team did today!

We were able to use the PromoJET solvent inkjet printer with the rotary fixture attached to print these great images on these bottles. The rotary fixture allowed us to print on circular/cylinder type of objects. The process was simple, we first heated the bottles with the built-in halogen heat lamp (yes you can use that with the rotary fixture as well!), then the PromoJET inkjet printer did the rest!

We were able to use two different types of images: the first image (the characters) was a high resolution graphic picture printed onto the bottle and the second image (the hotel) was high resolution photo that we were able to use. Either way the printing on bottles came out great with the PromoJET solvent inkjet printer!

Inkjet Printing on Footballs

Check out these awesome footballs!

By using the PromoJet solvent inkjet printer, we were able to print these fantastic images right onto the football.

It was so easy to do! First, we rubbed the football down with alcohol. The football was then heated up with the PromoJET’s built in halogen lamp, because it is built in, the objects require no manual pre-heating, and it improves the adhesion of the ink to the football. The PromoJET did the rest! The images came out crisp and sharp regardless of the bumpy surface texture. All thanks to the PromoJET flatbed printer!
