Senior Mechanical Design Engineer- Danvers, MA

The Sr. Mechanical Designer, will work with and support the engineering staff to translate high level module, submodule, and/or component design concepts into detailed design drawings that ensure that when made, the final hardware meets the objectives for functionality, reliability, ease of assembly, ease of Service, and product cost.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Fluency and productive use of Solidworks.
  • Design and develop mechanisms, packaging, tooling, and system integration (automation) in concert with the leadership provided by a Sr. Mechanical Engineer.Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Design both in metric and imperial with standard sizes for sheet metal thicknesses and fastening hardware.
  • Support the modifications and movement of imperial designs to low cost (metric) suppliers.
  • Use best mechanical practices including tolerance studies and design to cost, to determine which parts need mechanical modeling for stress, dynamic behavior, thermal performance, etc.
  • Knowledge of a variety of materials and manufacturing processes including when steel, aluminum, machined parts, molded parts, or 3D printed parts are the best for each application. Comprehension of what accuracies can be realized with each material and fabrication selection.
  • Leverage existing designs, properly cost components, and design to fitness-for-use goals so that a optimization of design time, BOM cost, manufacturing cost is realized. This includes make vs. buy analysis and considering the total product cost in decision making.
  • Assist in the assembly of prototype systems to verify that all fit, finish, and functional goals are met with his or her designs.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering, a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience designing small to medium scale industrial hardware.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate dynamic cross-functional projects with engineering, manufacturing.
  • Enough analytical skills to know when to escalate critical components and/or subassemblies for analysis.
  • Experience working in time critical and fast-paced product development.
  • Proficiency with Solidworks

Inside Sales Representative- Danvers, MA

The Inside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. He/she will have a keen understanding of Inkcups Now product offerings, and the ability to close deals while communicating our value. The Inside Sales Representative will work only at our corporate headquarters location in Danvers MA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Consistently log and record all outreaches into Salesforce.com
  • Produce regular activity reports
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Team with distributors to build a pipeline and close sales to achieve quarterly quotas
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing volumes of calls per day
  • The candidate is a confident self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Understanding of sales cycle, with ability to close deals
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a track record of over-achieving quota
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

Inkjet Technician- Danvers, MA

The Inkjet Technician is responsible for providing technical sales support, equipment demonstrations, training, sample processing and field service installation and repair of inkjet and related equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation and repair of digital equipment at customer sites.
  • Provide training to customers on proper operation and maintenance of equipment, digital file preparation, and RIP processing.
  • Remote customer support/troubleshooting as well as on-site service as needed.
  • Effectively communicate and obtain appropriate data needed to identify, analyze and resolve service requirements.
  • Clearly communicate problem solutions through data base entries, written reports and verbal communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Maintaining of demo and test facilities at employer’s location
  • Imaging of printed samples for customers and marketing
  • Participation at trade shows to set up and demonstrate equipment
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Associate Degree or equivalent vocational training in a related field
  • Basic Graphic Arts skills with working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Corel
  • Experience in servicing inkjet printing or similar equipment in a print production environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must have good color vision and attention to detail
  • Strong aptitude for customer relations, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including international travel
  • A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
